Default Tarot XYZ malfunction?

I have a tarot xyz setup on a hk assault 700, I got it setup and it has worked fine for months until yesterday I landed to adjust my tail gyro gain and when I tried to take off the tail seemed to have no gyro at all, I put the settings back to the previous gain that worked fine for months and tried to take off and the heli started to tip over on it's side, I was able to lower the collective and keep it upright but when I approached the model I notice that none of the swash servos were working or the tail servo, but the throttle worked fine! I powered the XYZ and receiver off and back on and everything started working again but the swash was tipped over at a 45 degree level instead of level like normal. Using the dx9 I could tip the swash back level by inputting full left stick but as soon as I let go of the transmitter it tipped back over again. I power cycled the electronics on the heli again and everything seems normal now!

Any ideas what's going on? I don't want to fly again unil I sort this out, I don't want to hurt myself or anyone else!

Thanks,

TJ

It may have switched "conditions". Sometimes the ZYX does this. Many program both conditions the same because of this. Hook it up to johns software and check. Also, triple check because the programming can fool you into thinking you have it but values don't always stick.

Else that, open it up and look for bad solder joint on servo connectors.

Still having bizzare problems with the helicopter having a mind of it's own, twitching and trying to roll over, just crashed my 700 2 weeks ago and I thought it was my receiver pack (i measured low voltage after the crash) so I rebuilt it with a 20a bec and flew GREAT for 2 days and then today I took off and was hovering and it tried to roll over, I immediately brought it back down to land and right as I was touching down it twitched again and flipped over. full head speed on the concrete.

I guess I'm going to buy a new FBL controller.

I did what you said and updated both conditions, checked the solder connections, all looks good. This thing is a POS.

Sounds like static to me. Do a search on "static" in this forum to read more about it, but these are classic symptoms of your electrical system getting zapped by ESD. FYI, the ZYX is extremely sensitive to static, much more so than any other FBL system I've flown.
