Default My Mini Protos (FBL) 450

To get the ball rolling here is my Mini Protos:

Flybarless / Mikado Mini V Blueline with 5.0 Pro
Futaba 6108HS - SBUS
Cyclic: JR 285MG
Tail Servo: MKS DS-8910
ESC: Stock YGE 60, Soldered XT 60 End
Motor: Stock Motor Provided in kit, Scorpion 2580kv
Pinion: Stock 16tooth to start with
Lipos: 3S - 2250mah Thunder Power 45C Pro Power
Main Blades: Thunder Power 325mm CF
TR: Stock Provided plastic TR Blades

All up weight RTF = 854 Grams
(Heavier then I expected), this is FBL, Flybar version would be abit heavier
Less weight of pack with connector = 205 grams Dry weight = 649 Grams

**Notes** for the JR285mg and other JR Micro servos you must bore out the case hole to use adaptor "A" that are provided in kit, otherwise it's tough to get solid fit and feel on the servos to the frame.

Currently I am at 13.5mm out for FBL setup as first trial and only 5.2mm on tr servo horn for distance. I will update later once optimum distances are found on FBL and of course will share my file in sticky thread of sharing files.

Here are some pictures for all of you "Excuse mess in background, builds get hairy!"

Looks great! I cant tell the difference comparing to regular Protos. Hope to see that heli in air soon.

Come on, Shawn! Yesterday weather was great . -8C and sunny. I had 10 flights on my Logo 400 .

I understand what you mean by cold. It's about 65F (18C) here in Dallas today. Much too cold to fly.

Shawn's builds are always clean. Probably that's why I moved to Logos .

OICU812 is the Futaba 6108HS S-Bus, i thought it was just the high speed only RX and the 6108SB was the high speed + S-Bus RX ?

The heli looks great how much flying time have you got on her ?
and now a dumb question, hows it fly ?

Yes it is (S-Bus) version, can be used either way, but all mine are all S-Bus now, just cleaner and well easier to. Flown it 3 times now, brutal cold here so not much of an evaluation as my flights are super short. Got the tail locked in now nicely though and almost all the disc stuff done. So first warmer day at least above -15 would be a treat I can work at completing the tune, and go from there. To soon to say to be honest.

So doesn't that mean you have the R6108"SB" and not the R6108"HS" is that right ?

Total-G with HS-5065MG on cyclic, S9257 on rudder
Scorpion 2221-12, 16t pinion, CC ICE Lite 50 (2700 rpm governor mode)
Edge FBL blades

900g AUW w/ Hyperion VX 3S 2600 pack

Wires will be rerouted later once I am happy with the setup. For now, just wanted to see it in the air!

Way too cold to fly outside, so only hovered in the basement, so far.
