Default Embla Build Pictures

Hi All,
As the name suggests... I got my hands on one of these badboys from PerthRC. I was so happy with how it all looked I decided to do take pictures throughout my build.
Hope you all enjoy it:

Cheers,
Tim

Excellent pictures to show steps from the beginning to end. Also, Hirobo tail design definitely remove the slop symptom as seen in Align TREX 450.

I definitely will get one of this - the FBL version.

As reqeusted, Pictures have been added showing how I mounted my servos, gyro and reciever. I also added some quicklinks at the top of the document to help people to find what they are looking for.

Let me know what you think

I finished building my Embla FBL last week. Here's a few pics (albeit crappy ones) for those curious about the FBL variant.

Is it really trailing edge control on the main blades and do the tail blades actually turn that direction (rather than up into the air blowing down from the main rotor)?

Nice looking machine!

Sl4ppy your tail is wrong and blades are on backwards.

Nice looking machine!
Standard setup contemplates leading edge counterclockwise tail rotor.
I'm flying a trailing edge clockwise setup and feel it good.

You are correct, it's a leading edge system for fbl, I have them on backwards; ditto for the tail blades. On pages 32,, is the only place they indicate which is correct; not super explicit.

Yeah, they seem that way; up into the main rotor disc is standard, but that's the direction the tail rotor spins. I don't have an extra twist in my belt, and it flew great, so I'll have to take a much closer look the next chance I get.

"I don't have an extra twist in my belt,"

Twist it the other way and it will turn in the opposite direction.

Can someone tell me if the Embla's canopy is made of plastic or fiberglass?
Thanks.
