The arc tail pitch rocker is the kind that the Gaui X7, X3 and X2 use.

Would be nice if they made one of these for the X4, NX4, X4II and X5. But this strengthened upgrade slider and bushing is a good start. I wonder when they will be available at places like anythingheli.com.

Default pitch slider

I just purchased my Kit today, is the tail slider still an issue to date?

I have had one of the original release birds and have had no problems with it through the 4 gallons of fuel I have flown with it. I think the tail hub issues only affected a few people. Just take a good look at it when you get it and if you have any questions, JC Zankl or Matt Nasca are a wealth of knowledge on this topic.

No need to worry about the kit you just purchased. This issue is about a yr old now. And has been taken care of ;-)

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks

I still cannot locate the extra HD pitch slider anywhere. I got one of the first kits still flying with the original slider. I worry about the thing every time I fly it.

Wow! Sorry to hear about that bro. I had no issues here. Couple of fellas fly them also with no issues and they smack that baby around. We all got over a gallon of flight time on them.

Here's the new X4 series and X5, tail pitch slider. Got it installed today and it works great!

So it doesn't work with the original X5 tail gearbox. How sad is that. Makes it a pretty expensive upgrade if you have to buy the tail gearbox, as well.

I bet that catches a few people out. They should make it more clear in the advert that it's not for all X5's. It's only for the tail gearbox with an X on the top, where the bellcrank mount can be removed from the outside..

Sorry, I know, NX4 thread...

Since this upgrade is modeled after the X7 tail assembly. The thing that makes me laugh is that I can add all the same parts to my shopping cart for my X7 that come in that new upgrade kit and the X7 parts cost a good bit less than this new upgrade kit that has smaller and lighter parts for a smaller and lighter helicopter. Can't quite figure that one out.
