What motor are you using? Installing the muffler I recommend Red high temp RTV gasket. It works awesome. No leaks and one tube makes a TON of gaskets.

Its an OS 55 with an Outrage pipe. Yup I use RTV High Temp Copper. Seals great never had an issue. Just don't use too much!
