Hi

Mineral oil can attack plastics and rubber so you need to avoid that, as Mat sayes silicone oil / grease is good I got mine from an RC truck specialist though I cant remember which one. They ususally have silicone shock absorber oil and different types of none mineral grease. Use grease on your blade holder bearings, washout block and swash plate bearings, everything else can be lubed with the oil

What ever you do, don't be a cheapo like me, and use vegetable oil or anything you'd normal use to fry foods - it collects dust like a magnet and basically becoming sticky and thick causing lots of extra force to move things. =/

I think I'll just get some oil I take out of my truck engine and slop that on. I'm too cheap. =/

Normal metal-on-metal oil for the main shaft so the swash and washout block moves nicley on it. I use this:

The only thing you should grease is the thrust bearing on the feathering shaft. And use silicone grease.

And put silicone lubricant on the belt of the heli.
