I know this thread is a little old but I wanted to know what you guys think. I have a Z30 1100kv motor and I'm going to run the stock 61/50/19 gearing on my 425 so I ordered a 19t pinion. According to the headspeed calculator that should give me 2600rpm's at 90% effeciency, am I reading the chart correctly and do you guys think that will be ok for normal flight, no hard 3d?

Yes, you are reading it correctly and IMHO 2600 HS is about right for non-3D. However I would consider 42T and 15/16T motor pinions.
