Default x2 collective question

I am flying my x2 atm and when I give full collective , upright or inverted the tail swings about 90 degrees this is because I have too much collective and the tail can't keep up , even though I have the speed up gears, so I thought I would just lower my swash amount so that I don't have so much collective, well I went from 40% to 37% is this ok or does it show that my mechanical gain is off somewhere, my aileron and elevator are both at 60%

=] you are giving me a break from the X4!

Sounds fine to me, yes you have the correct res, if you want, try upping the SW collective again and use the Tx pitch curve to set top and bottom pitch range.

I'm exploring this on a 5 blade head, so would like to see what you think? a certain advantage from what I can see?

now that's a good idea, I did also notice that batteries also play a part ,my flights were fine this morning with the lowered swash value except for 1 battery that it nearly went 180 degrees with and sagged very badly, I think that one I will retire. but I will try your suggestion I can see that working

have to wait for parts for the x4 , which should be this week then it will be back to business , I think this will sort it though, its been a very consistent performer up until recently

I did try an s pitch curve and it was worse , I actually thought something had broken as it spun twice before I halted the collective, so I figured something else was wrong so after finishing the flight (!) I looked at the drive belt and of course there were no(literally) teeth on the belt, again its amazing that it actually flies like this
