Default MAH blade help

I unfortunately crashed my 500 yesterday because I was stupid (electrical problem not due to static, except for that between my head).

Anyway, I tried to put my MAH blades on but found there was about 0.5mm play in between the blade root and the blade grip. I have some 1mm blade grip washers from my radix blades and was wondering, if people are just tightening the blade grips or using washers. If using washers, are you just placing the 1mm washer on one side of the blade grip? I have the right washers from my Lepton and may just pilfer that one. What are your thoughts on just using one 1 washer on one side of the blade grip (either top or bottom)?

Thanks in advance.

Your 500 kit should have come with spacers which will make those blades fit fine. BUT get ready as I don;t think your going to like those blades on this heli. We tried them and yikes...

Bob,

I'll have to look for those spacers. My garage is a mess and I'm not sure where they are. As for the MAH blades, they're all I have until I get my order from GrandRC. Ed was able to scrounge up a pair of CF Align blades for me. Thanks for the info.

I had them first on my Heli because that was all I coudl get too. They are power hogs and slow response. I could easily bog the head, now with Align/rotortech blades it's a new machine, 100% all problems were with the MAH blades.
