Hello all,

We will continue to support parts for G5 and 550 at HeliDirect. We will not discontinue these parts. Please be patience as right now Outrage is so busy producing Fusion 50 and other Velocity products, and did not provide these parts yet even though the order has been sent for a while. But be sure that we will continue support these parts for you.

Helidirect continuing to stock parts doesn't really address the issue.

Question is if Outrage is going to continue to manufacture the parts ?

i think HD is right they prob only making V90 and Fusion 50 parts and kits now...and when they done they will change over to other productions...but sounds like they need a bigger factory if that really is the case

Was thinking about getting a G5. But now I wonder, with the possibility of parts being out of stock for months at a time...They might be producing new products, but they need to keep their existing products well fed with parts.

Yes - but I have this idea that there is a very close relationship between HeliDirect, Prestige & Outrage.

From my understanding Prestige owns Outrage and HD.

I do not want to sound bad but threads like this one might scare away potential customers. I pre orderd my Fusion 50 and I had a Velocity 50 once. However I am not sure if I would order another Outrage heli.
I will monitor the developments. So far I am disappointed not to see any kind of response fro Outrage. Not even any info on their web page. Not sure if they take some of the community concerns serious.
I tried to contact them about a few issues during the last 3 weeks and got zero response (almost like Align). I am just not sure what to think of it at the moment.

Lets see how it turns out. The good thing -> I still can use the electronics and blades for another project if I have to.

The G5 & 550 aren't part of the Velocity or Fusion product lines, is that saying something?

Yes - I'd heard that Prestige, HD & Outrage were owned by the same people.

So hearing HD say that they're going to continue stocking G5 parts makes me think Outrage are going to continue supplying them - though I could be making a foolish assumption that the various subsidiaries actually talk to each other...

I went on their forum, there isn't a section for the 550 or G5, same with helidirects forum.

There is no changes in production. And there is no changes in public relations. We have a team of customer service to support all needs from customers. All emails are answered and we are also here to support on forums together with our reps.

Anything you need we can provide here, or at our own forum on Outragerc website which we will turn on very soon.

It is only saying they were created before the naming convention change. if i had to guess the 550 is Outrage's top seller, it isn't going anywhere.

Why does it seem like the 550 and G5 are getting phased out then???

What makes you think they are being phased out ? I mean other than the rumors from people who have no affiliation with the company ?
