Default button head screws

just bought a crashed 360 , looks good mostly but I'm tearing it down for a rebuild, the button head screws in the blade holders are a bit rounded off so I would like to replace them, the manual tells me that they are m2.5x5 with a part number that no one has, is there an alternative to this bolt or another place to get them from.

I emailed ProStar about this a couple months back, I was told they the bolt has been changed to M2.5x6.

I purchased some replacements from ebay:

Cheaper and looked to be of a better quality than the stocker M2.5x5 that I initially had. The socket cap was a bit deeper and less prone to strip.

I can second that. I ordered some, and they fit. Ugh... I'm terrible about trying to find hardware that's not from the factory. I just paid 6 bucks for 2 of the spacer washers.

Sometimes the shipping cost doesn't make it worth going non-factory anyways. In my ebay link, you can see the overpriced shipping costs. I bought a couple of packages of various bolts from them and asked for a shipping price for the multiple listings. They came back with a shipping price of only a couple bucks for everything. My shipping for everything was cheaper than the price of the one listing. So, if you're looking at getting bolts from them, it pays to ask for an updated invoice (or ask before you commit to buying).

I like to order a bunch of different size fasteners that I think are at high risk of needing replacement for all my helis. If I can't find them at my local fastener store I usually order from Mr. Metric! They have many different materials, sizes, and styles plus associated washers, nuts, nylocs, etc. And $6 fixed priority shipping no matter how many you order so it's best to get all you need in one bulk order. Much cheaper than getting your pants pulled down by RC retailer's hardware pricing.

Interestingly enough shipping for those bolts to Canada is 37.92......

They are saving up for a drone that will soon be used to deliver, right to your door . Isn't it crazy how we get screwed in Canada sometimes, LOL.
