Default 2nd Flight Test: 450SEV with 3G

Hey Freaks,
It was a fairly calm todday to get my 2nd flight with 3G installed on my 450 V2. Setup: HS5065mg cyclics, 9257 tail, radix blades, several battery types, DX7 with AR6100 rx.

First, the bird seems very stable in light breezes and the gain settings seem ok at default. I did have a drift to the right and a bit forward. For now, I trimmed that out assuming my swash may not be perfectly level and that my cg may not be exactly at the shaft. After the trim (1 click elev, 1 click ail), it seemed to fly very stable and predictable.

Then -- the dreaded tail kick. The tail popped to the left about 45 degrees, uncommanded (tail left, nose right). Only happended once and I don't have any twitches or other bad behavior of the tail.

Is this the tail kick that some of you have been experiencing and hoping the software update would fix?

Otherwise, for the 2nd flight, I'm quite happy with the results. Don't know if I trust it to do 3D until I have some more stick time to see how often the tail is going to kick out like that.

I'm not bashing 3G -- I have a lot of fly time before I have enough info to have a serous opinion; however, I am trying to decide which FBL to put on my 500 and that tail kick has my attention for now.

It's all good..... Thx. cp
