The rumors about an X6 are really old.
When they announced an X3, i was hoping for an X6..

I would have loved to get an X6, but now i've got the X5, i'm really happy with it.
Next on my list is an X7

Default Gaui X6

I dunno but I hope they do it like the e5 so it can be a 6s with 550 blades or a 12s with 600's. only lighter with cheaper replacement parts

You made a good decision, as there is no X6

At least not as of yet

There was some really old pictures going around of a prototype X6, that was even before the X7 came out.

Bumping an old thread, has anyone heard anything about this? I'd hate to spend the loot on Logo 600 SX...

Only thing I've seen is someone on the forums made one. I think he had trouble keeping it flight worthy.

But you won't go wrong with the logo. Two guys I fly with have them and they seem like really nice flying machines.

What would be the appeal of an X6 versus an X7? I guess that you could share the 4000mAh packs?

The Gaui X5 with 600mm blades. Basically a 600-class machine, for me. Cheap, light, handles great, small enough for most flying fields, large enough to practice inverted autos. Just my nickel, yo.

Although the price difference between 600 and 700 is getting smaller and smaller, so most folks would just go 700 if they have the space to fly one in. I guess 500 and 600 are getting phased out now...

I'd love to see an x6. I still think 600 size rocks. Its got presence without being too costly to setup or crash

I want a X6 too

Though I think a X5--->X6 stretch would be better instead of a whole new heli. The X5 is built well enough.

The X5 is an awesome machine, an X6 would need new gearing, the info I have been reading on custom built "X6s" is the X5 gearing is inadequate for the power of a 12S 600mm machine...

I've been wondering for quite some time why Gaui doesn't offer a lightweight 600 (able to swing 600-630mm blades and take 3300-4000 packs) like a slightly more beefy TT G570.

They obviously don't believe in the 600 class anymore. It's business, they have crazy sales for years on their X5 and the X7 is good too ... no need to go for them on the 600 class market as sales are good.
Sad, as like you said, a light 600 with 3.3A packs will be awesome.
I will love to see a new X5 with battery tray like the x4 II, better QC on parts, especially gear and OWB assembly, new OWB design with 2 bearings (one on top and one on bottom like it should mechanically be designed, less play in the swash plate and not parts failing on the tail and no stupid over tight pre assembly in the head.

Then I'll move back to Gaui !... ;-)

My X5 is fine so far, none of those issues.

The price difference between the 600 and 700 is getting smaller by the day, I doubt Gaui is interested in the 600 market segment, might as well go for the 700.
