When bolted directly to the chopper, what shock absorbing effect will this offer, during a hard landing?

It's a very clean rig, mind you, and it beats the heck out of the flying L-Bracket...

I finished assembling a carbon version this evening.

Carbon version is stiffer and less weight. RTF weight for carbon version with universal o-ring skid mount (minus battery and RX) is

1lb 12 oz.

I put 170lb of weight on it tonight with the skid mount on top. held is without issue. Pics of the carbon version tomorrow!

Bolt a board on to the top of that mount.

Put the video camera on a tripod and turn it on.

Sit indian style on the board on the mount.

Flick the pan switch, wave to the camera as you spin around.

It's only another 30 pounds from where you are now.

You can do it... :-)

I'm not demonstrating anything!

It is from elementary school when you sit cross legged.

By doing this, his body would be evenly distributed over the pan axis.

<<The position known as Indian or tailor style involves both feet bent inwards and under the body, crossing each other at the ankle. In Japan it is known as agura (胡座).>>

Rosauro,

I did not know you had such good moves from your younger days. Are you breakin to some Musical Youth or what?

Ding Ding, light bulb going off. Doing that on the mount would provide gyro stabilization!!

I gotta go contact the USPTO.gov.

Scott

Ok I'll admit it. I did do some "breakin'". You remember the movie "Beat Street"?

Beat Street
The king of the beat
You see him rocking that beat from across the street
And Huh Huh!
Beat Street is a lesson too, because you can't let the Streets beat you!

LOL ...yes my favourite was the hand spin...

DJ

That's lookin' sweet!

No, but 2 other size pinions will be available as accessory items, as will a tilt gimbal for oblique and video shooting, adapter kits to bolt the mount to Logo 500/600, Trex 600, Raptor E550/620, Joker, and a few other bling upgrades too.

The mount is modular and will easily be able to adapt to future upgrades and option equipment.

Indeed! but this one isn't hand bent! plus, I've been busy drawing up a cnc machined aluminum one piece camera bracket as a bling option.
