The size is really a factor in why I like the machine over all the other Logos. Since my mind processes things slower, and it take me time to plan my next "move", the machine doesn't "disappear" when it gets out there. Keeping perspective is SOOO easy by comparison. Makes me feel more confident, and thus flying the machine is more fun.
Keep in mind I'm 58, and have lost more hand-eye coordination than Kyle has acquired up to this point (-: (-: Dave |

I know the feeling vary well. Cloudy days are killer. Maybe Makado will offer me a Senior Citizen discount. |

Is anyone considering a couple 6S 5000 and a 2S 5000? Not very convenient to charge or hook up, but it might be another option for those with 6S chargers.
The more I think about it though, the more awkward it seems.

@ Redlight... that's a nice comparison, thanks. TDR is a beauty 700, high quality. Same price we can fly the Xxtreme, big and beautiful, same quality? we don't know, but I'm willing to try and have no doubts it will be fine.
The Xxtreme for me was the best investment ever . Since the announcement I haven't spend a dime at helicopter "stuff". Even sold some parts and a heli. Kept the main bird (for the AP), a Logo 600SE, and kept a Logo 600, which has had a lot of beating, still fly's nice, but isn't worth selling. I found those two helicopters where enough for my "needs", and in the meantime the €'s slowly added to the PiggyBank. I'm ready for it, and still looking forward to fly the big machine like the first day of announcement. (Now patiently waiting for a longer tail, and 900mm semisymetrical Spinblades. Lower the head speed. Put in 4pcs 6S lip's 4000 mAh for 12S 8000 milli's of battery's. That seems nice to me, but that's for later, first thing is to by the machine). Quote:

I'm considering it also. You could power your receiver from the 2s pack. My concern like yours is charging.

I think I'll be skipping the 800 phase.. very cool but man big jump in prices from the 700/90 E/Ns oh well I can drool on the 800s at funflys.. cant justify that much in crash costs.
