Uh-Oh, better study then. School comes first. Good luck on your finals if I don't see you.

So I am getting the itch for a new build and wanted to get some opinions around what your experience is with the Rave ENV 700. I am looking at going with the Ballistic FSO version but the new AleeS Rush 750 has my eye too.

I would like to build a Goblin as well... man what to do.

BTW TDR keeps getting better every day, this has been by far the best Heli purchase and more than likely will always be until I start a scale project.

I saw the Ballistic at Orlando in December and talked with Curtis about it and saw him fly it. Very nice heli!!!

The Rush is a 2012 Outrage, I am betting my friends it will have the same issues the Outrages have, mainly some plastic quality problems with the gears and always something in the design that needs a revision. I would not get the V1 if it were the last heli on the planet.

Goblin, well it has been talked about a lot. If the problems it had were the last and it fits your flying it's something different to own.

Between this 3 I'd go with the Ballistic. If there were a TT E7 kit I'd go with that even more!

Guys, lets talk dampers ...

I currently have 12 flights on my brand new TDR right now, it's flying very well with the stock black o-rings and black o-ring "bushes"/holders. Flying about 1400-1850rpm, no wobbles or anything but I may want to try something more aggressive in the future.

I'm looking to put together a small spare parts order, and am wondering which combo of o-rings to get. Gerry was telling me about a combination of red (soft) and black (hard) o-rings with the white holders...

On another note I was happy to discover that my Logo 500 shares the same thrusts and radials in the head as the TDR, and the tail bearings I can get using Align parts. Having small maintenance items such as bearings available through other sources really helps!

The white inserts have a smaller hole for the spindle, to eliminate the small teetering the black ones allow, 8,0 vs 8,2mm if my memory is correct.

Some claim that a Logo (600SE..?) spindle is the same. (If someone who know can verify...)

Out of these in your list I would go with the Goblin but the Alees is looking mighty fine!!!

Here's a video overview of the Ballistic:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29FjDY_rKiE[/ame]

I like it better than the ENV, with the Ballistic having direct-to-swash cyclic servos, a smaller frame, etc. but it's still not my cup of tea. Check out the Synergy E7 and Compass 7HV if you like this general frame layout.

Should it be Logo 600 (8X16X5), not Logo 500 (6X14X5)?

Doubt that.
The TDR has 8x16x5 and the Logo 500 6x14x5.
But the Logo 600 has the same ones.
Not cheapos. . .
