Default Fury 55 FBL & BeastX

Just wondering if anybody is using the BeastX with the Fury 55. So far everything I seen is with the Vbar.

Mine has a Vbar, but I have two heli's with the MB. The old tail location made running all of the wires to the MB an ugly proposition, so the remote sensor of the Vbar was an easier install.

MA just released a new front bracket that makes mounting the MB much easier.

Have you noticed a difference between the two brands? I only have experience with the BeastX but I am very interested in the V-Bar. I really like the GUI interface and I understand now there is a GOV feature with 5.1.

Are you using the GOV feature and if so which sensor are using?

Thanks
Mark

I have not updated to 5.1 yet, so I can't comment.

There are tons of threads already on this topic if you want to learn about Vbar vs BeastX. It does not matter what brand of heli you install them on. Both are great FBL systems, if you want the Vbar, go for it. Then you can compare for yourself.

I'll have the 55 running Vbar 5.1 up and running, hopefully by next week (work got in the way ). I'm planning on the Vbar because I want to use the governor feature plus the flybar simulation is pretty cool

I had a BeastX, Put my 50.Model into the ground..

Went V-bar - Never looked Back and is rocking my Fury 55!

Now that the BeastX has dual spektrum sats support, I would still not use it with sats, simply because it has no redudancy if that single adapter cable comes loose.

Sorry to hear about that. I have been running the BeastX on my Trex 450 Pro without any issue's. What exactly happened, any symptoms before she went down.

I will be starting a Fury 55 with a Beastx in a few days, and was curious to those whose have that setup how the setup of the MB came out with the measurements given in the manual? Able to get blue light and 6 degrees? Manual if i remember calls for 19-20 mm out on servos arms, was curious how that worked out or if ya had to change things?

Thx

I have a mini vbar on my logo 400 and PC setup via my Macbook Pro is absolutely stupid easy. I just completed a flybar Fury 55 and it flies dead nuts solid. If I was to go flybarless, I think I'd go with another V-bar.
