Default New product - Blade nano cpx?

In this Chinese forum, it shows a vedio and photo
of of "Nano cpx" from Blade. It looks real.

http://bbs.5imx.com/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=671763

The photo suggest that it is like msrx, but with collective pitch.
It is using the smaller 1S battery just like msrx.
The vedio suggest that nano cpx can flip inverted indoor.

I'll take 2*

* provided they are real...

Seriously though, an mSRX size full CP heli would be a fantastic addition to the Blade lineup. I hope this is a real product and released sooner rather than later.

When I tried to open the link (at work) my company firewall reported a virus and blocked it. Beware folks.

Looks like a yellow MCPx to me, but I dunno. The MCPx can already go inverted indoors anyway, and the tail will most likely suck just like the original MCPx.

looks like mcpx frame with msr landing gear, msr tail and a new updated canopy that looks like a shrunken 130x. Shorter main blade? lower head?

With the lower weight of the battery it would be easier to invert. plus it looks like it has a v2 tail rotor blade

This should really be outside the MCPX forum, in the main BLADE forum. I'd love to hear from a HH associate but that's not going to happen .

I've watched the vid a few times, even the box has nano on it. I think we'll be seeing this in the near future, for Xmas perhaps. Just in time for indoor flying.

Especially with it taking msrx batteries, I'm very interested in this little guy. The mcpx is almost to large for my yard and this would be great for keeping practice indoors all winter.

Meh, the mCPx is hardly bigger than the mSR X as is... maybe if it was mSR sized it'd be neat but I'll probably skip it and go bigger to the 130X instead.

Assuming it's real.

It seems to have the pico sized batteries that go in an MSR/MCX etc. Jeez that's tiny...

Maybe it will be better for indoor flight.

No mention of it on Blade's web site or anywhere else I can find.

I smell something stinky

Though I hope I'm wrong.

One thing that sticks out as legit is the shape of the canopy, particularly the cheek "scoops" They're crescent shaped like the 130X.... follows Blade's new canopy design.

There was a video embedded in the thread, but it was removed from the video site for the equivalent of copyright violation.

There WAS the link: http://v.youku.com/index/y404/

And the

I'm positive we will see this little guy for the holidays. This is obviously how HH is solving the initial supply issue (like with the 130x and 300x), by making sure the production far proceeds the release. This is how companies do it and they try very hard to keep it secret.

IMO what happened is a factory worker was somehow able to get at least one of these off the production line, and there it is. The video was very revealing, if a picture can say a thousand words, the vid definitely said a few more than that. I'm bummed it's been taken down before anyone got a chance to rip it. It showed some brief flight and inversion, also panned across the box which clearly said "nano" on it.

I thought the exact same thing. There's a bad boy in the factory in China.

The product looks legit to me. Do I need an even smaller collective? No. Will I buy a Nano. Probably.
