Is the Cypher still in production?

It would probably fly well with an FBL head on it (not that it did not fly well before).

Hi all,

If you guys read RC Heli Pilot magazine, they covered the Las Vegas Fun Fly world record flight in the latest issue.

In the photo of all the helis hovering at the same time, that is my trusty Cypher hovering dead center in the picture! You can see the black and red canopy as shown in the photos I posted on the previous page. Kinda small and blurry, but funny to me that my heli is in a national magazine. ;-)

If anyone is interested in two of these kits in nearly new or like new condition at a reasonable price reply here and send me a PM. I also have a great gyro to go with the package.

Ron Lund still has five of these in stock. Mine both fly really well.

I thought I was all alone in flying the Cypher still. She has more flight on it then i want to know. I have enough parts on hand to build another 3 or three so I should be able to keep it in the air for a while longer.

Buzz.

Well... I check this thread often and thought I'd never see another post again, nice to hear Cypher is still out there.
I still have two, but have put the hobby on hold for over a year due to life not allowing me time to keep at it. Have been on HF throughout that time tho, trying to keep up.
Want to go FBL with one of them when I get back into it. Was researching what head to go with a while back, but never got any farther than that.
Maybe this thread will continue on...

I have my original Cypher, plus I have a 2nd one I bought plus enough parts for a third one and a few crashes. Will keep flying until I run out of parts.

buzz.

Ron's has all Cypher parts in stock still, plus a few kits. The only part I can't find anywhere is a main shaft.

Default Cypher 3D in mothballs

I've got one but don't fly it.
Never really liked it.
Maybe I could sell it?

I gave mine to a very close friend.

It was/is a very, very good little helicopter!

Anyone have a problem with the esc supplied with these helis. I have three from kits I scooped up when Ripmax unloaded them for silly money and not one of them will hold more than 15 amps continuous.

I sold mine as I wasn't flying nearly as much but I regret selling it because it was a superb little heli.
