tail control rod
I bought a new tail control rod for my warp build and it seems like its too long, I am using a bigger servo, not micro, and have the output shaft towards the rear of the heli , like it is in the manual , should I shorten the rod( and if so, how?) or turn the servo round and unwind the ball links? or should it be the right length and I've assembled it wrong?

Can you post a pic of it installed? It would be easier if we could see how it fits

I decided to cut it, I took about 1/3rd of an inch of , then heated it up with a soldering iron and unscrewed the end , then I jb welded it back in , it is the right length now and appears to be working ok, just a little re-wiring and I will probably maiden it at the weekend. thanks for the help

I use a mini servo for rudder as well and I have had to shorten all of the tail push rods to get correct geometry.

I seem to remember shortening the tail pushrod in both Warps-about 1/8".
I use JR 3500G Tail servos.

tail control rod
I ended up going the other direction with my tail pushrod and had to lengthen it. I am also using a mini servo on the tail, but positioned it with the output shaft forward because my servo lead was a wee bit too short. I removed the threaded ends and glued them back in position sticking out 4mm further to stretch the pushrod by 8mm total.
