Default Stock Motor bearings

My motor bearings are starting to sound a bit loud so I'm looking at replacing the bearings.

Are these bearings replaceable? Looking at the pic of the "Compass 2617 Motor Coil", it almost looks the bottom bearing might be able to be serviced. I've never had my stock motor apart so I have no first hand knowledge. And if they are replaceable, does anyone know the size of the bearings?

Don't know what bearings the motor uses but I know the outer case easily comes off. I think you can get to both bearing at that point.

Both are replaceable very easily. I don't know the bearing sizes off hand but they are listed in the manual.

I looked in the manual and didn't see any sizes.

I re-looked at the pic endbell and it looks like it might just press out. At first, I thought the endbell had a lip as a retainer.

Both sizes are listed in the part number pdf.

Be sure to use green loctite when seating the bearings.

With the triple bearing arrangement, these should last looong.

This must also depend on how pefect the alignment is on the third bearing.
It's easier to get it perfect on a 600 HVU or Mikado.
On this little heli it gets a bit trickier. I like to tighten the 4 screws that support the third bearing with the motor spinning.

With good alignment good bearings will last a while. And with belts bad bearings are harder to detect/cause less grief anyway.
