That's what the Barmaid said to the Bishop.....

Just wait til you fly it.

We have both cut our teeth on the 450x; the 550x is an experience in sight and sound that you will not forget in a hurry. Just like the shaking of your hands after that first flight.

Its the big dog cruising effortlessly at speed and not bothered in the slightest by piffling things like wind. Go back to the 450x and by comparison you got a skittish Jack Russel on you hands that gets spooked easily and can dart off in a new direction without warning!

Enjoy, that cheesy grin is gonna be hard to wipe off your face.

I hope to be getting one of these soon. I've seen one at my LHS built and it is pretty sizeable compared to a 450,but then seeing the 550 next to a 700x, yeah its a bit smaller....

Lol at all of yall. I'm starting my build this weekend. Gonna be a bit still. Have to purchase electronics and all. Guess I have decided on the spectrum hv servos.... h6200 I believe they are. Not cheap, but good specs and horizon customer service so worth a shot.

Enjoy that big bird! I too went from a 450 to my 550X. I nearly s#!t when I saw the size difference. It takes to the air so nice compared to my little squirrel of a 450. Let us know when you maiden, and good luck. You're gonna dig it!
