Question New to Flybarless - need advice!

Hi,

I am going to convert my Blade400 to a 4 or 5 bladed Bell 222A.
I was thinking of using:
- Multibladed head and tail from Lightning Heli
- Align 325mm Fiber Rotor Blade White/blue HS1163-01
- HeliArtist Airwolf v.3
- Hitec HS-5065MG Digital
- HeliCommand - Rigid
- DX6i - AR6100e

Do I need some thing else to make this a good build...
Can i use something else than the HeliCommand - Rigid, or do i need it at all?

Thanx,

ViperX

that should work great.if you dont need the position hold you could use sk360 and save a couple hundred dollars

Or wait until the Mini v-bar comes out, so you could get rid of your reciever, and tail gyro, allowing you to simplfy setup, and maybe save even more money than a SK360. Thats if you dont want the position hold...

Position hold? The HC Rigid doesn't have position hold. That requires some type of GPS interface or something like that.... position hold would be the HC profi and that is WAY more expensive.

The Rigid has a position hold. It's camera based, so the unit needs to see the ground below the heli. Works only on altitudes from 1 to 5 meters, I've been told.
