Exclamation 6HV FBL kit coming our way !!!

Hi guys,

i just heard from Compass that they will be releasing a 6HV FBL KIT !!! According to the info i've got from Compass the kit will hit the market by the end of this month !!

So great news, once again this shows that Compass listens to the feedback they get on the forums

Grtz,
Dirk

Thanks Dirk. I was a couple of weeks away from buying the kit and conversion kit. I'll wait a little longer for the flybarless kit; if it's not available by the middle of August, I'll fall back on my original plan.

I'm pretty sure that Compass has always offered their kits with the FBL head to Distributors that request it. They simply take out the FB head and stick in the FBL head. It was always on request only and never had its own part number. Nice to see that this will be an official kit.

Jason,

you might be right, but not on the 6HV. The 6HV FBL kit uses some slightly different frames than the flybarred 6HV. So it's not just swapping out the heads.

So 2 differnet kits will be offered :

The 6HV flybarred and the 6HV FBL kit with the special FBL head and the adapted frames !

Grtz,
Dirk

I assume the servos are moved in, but is that the only change to the frames?

So for the conversion kit do we now need to get the adapted frames?

@Audiracerj

yep the servo's are move towards the mainshaft

@ kevinator9

i think it's best to change the frames too because you will get a better servo resolution with the FBL frames.

Grtz,
Dirk

No Kevin

these are not the frames, these frames shown are frames made by a German pilot. These are NOT Compass frames !

Grtz,
Dirk

So the question becomes: Are they going to offer a full conversion kit with the frames? Yes, you could buy the frames separately, but they might be able to offer a better overall price if they're bundled.

No news on that Alan,

the only news i've got from Compass was that they will be releasing the full 6HV FBL kit. I'll have to come back on your other question.

Grtz,
Dirk
