Default Nitro T fuel filter

What is the correct orientation for this fuel filter please. The blue end unscrews for access but should it be to the carb or to the tank?

That looks like the Align one or similar which should have an arrow indicating flow direction molded into the clear part. I would put the blue end towards the carb, otherwise you would be pumping fuel backwards through the filter element when filling the tank, possibly flushing contaminants in there as well. Yeah I know that they would be filtered again before getting into the engine, but it's nice to be able to see them trapped in the filter element so you know when it's time to clean/replace it.

Metal end to carb. Otherwise you cound be pumping contaminants to between the filter and the carb.

Thanks. As you can see I had the blue end to the tank (header).

I have one as it's a T piece for filling but I'd still have a filter in the heli's line if I didn't have it.

I also have a filter on the fuel pickup in the gallon bottle and one on the hand pump.
