Default Throttle spring

Hey guys since its the off-season here in Mi. (20 degrees). I was thinking off things I can do to my helis to improve it. Well one of the guys at my field has a throttle spring on his nitro in case he loses power it will close up. Anyone have anything similar it seems like a good idea. I know ive lost power on my nitro before. I was praticing inverted circuits and it just kept going..really freaked me out.
Lose power on elec just falls...lose power on nitro and depending on what attitude youre flying in it will just keep going.
Any pics of this type of setup?

I've found the time to put a lightweight spring on anything nitro I own after having a nitro buggy shoot off into a river as a 12yr old (AA battery holder broke).

Unless you're using a hilariously weak servo, the spring should be inconsequential to your throttle response. So long as it is strong enough to move the throttle to closed with the servo slack, you're good.

I'll have to grab one later tonight, but the spring in question is a lightweight spring from one of my nitro car kits. The engine side has a j hook through one of the servo arm holes while the other side is screwed down by the front fan shroud bolt.

You should be able to get similar springs pretty easily either by hobby or warehouse. The spring I'm using was a manifold spring for holding on a car exhaust header, but stretched out a little.

Something purpose made like

is nice too. One side has a hook, the other a loop for a bolt.

I've looked into putting a throttle return spring on my N7, kind of tricky with the layout.

Here is an example of my throttle return spring on my trex 600.
