Here is the latest forecast for this week and weekend. We are suppose to get some rain tonight. Then it is going to be beautiful for the weekend. Bring your shorts and t shirts and lots of sunscreen. It is going to be like summer time. Was out at the field Saturday and it is in great shape. Got a call on Sunday, the first RV will be pulling in tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Also the first people arriving are suppose to arrive on Tuesday. They will be in there RV. So they will be at the field.

B&B Hobbies is one vendor that I know will be here. They have a large selection of merchandise. Not sure if they will be selling nitro motors, At past events we have usually 3-4 different vendors. B&B is the only one I have heard from this year.

@playzwtrux - It's just a fun fly, so just fly and hang out, really laid back.

On Saturday at 2:00p, Matt Botos (Team Synergy) will be doing a flybarless clinic.

Here is some pictures and videos from the 2010 Birmingham event. So will give you an idea of what takes place during the event. It is just a laid back type event where everyone has a good time and flies as much as they can. Friday and Saturday all the flight stations have someone flying and a couple people waiting to fly.

Two RV's arrived and setup at the field today. They said they are waiting and enjoying the weather till everyone else arrive. Field looks great, little damp from the rain last night. But all the sunshine the next few days it will be dry by Thursday morning.

I just came home from the field. There is 8 RV's already set up. About 20 pilots already at the field and flying. Had the first crash about 2PM today. LOL Sunshine and light breeze from the south. Temps were 79 degs this afternoon when I left. Field is dry. Going to need plenty of sunscreen, going to be a great weekend. Have talked to several pilots today that will be arriving later on tonight. RC Heliworkz is setup at the field and have a trailer load of merchandise for sale. B&B hobbies were scheduled to arrive about 5PM. So they will be setup also. BC Graphics will be here and selling event T Shirts and other items. Tony Whiteside is hosting a Chili dinner on Friday evening. Will be lots of socializing and lots of flying. So come on out and enjoy the event and all the fun.
