I miss you guys when you all go to bed.

Maybe Mike will have some more sleepless nights sometime soon

It's terrain that goes with being a LH pilot I am afraid, especiallly when I get a week or so off. My body clock has been so smashed up over the years. When I had 10 weeks off earlier this year, I actually started feeling "normal".

LOL

Ah fresh coffee its a balmy 4F outside and still snowing like crazy! It was 49F in the house when I woke up the coldest it has gotten inside so far. I actually had to turn on the heat! I live on the 3rd floor above the boiler and rarely need to turn on the heat but I'll admit it I was cold! Well off to work geeze I have to go far to start my day!(one step out of my door)

49F !!!! IN THE HOUSE!

...it's 10:23 and I just woke up <---- Slothlike

Mike, I know what you mean about throwing the circadian rhythm around like a volleyball. Switching back and forth between day flying and NVG's middle of the night at the drop of a hat. I can do it without even thinking about it now.

49F inside - I know how that goes, I pretty much have to beg the wife to let me fire up the old furnace in the fall!

Here in the great northland, once you start it up, it pretty much runs steady until spring. Takes a big hunk out of my toy fund.

Yep 49F! I usually keep it between 55F and 65F. Any warmer than 65F in the house and I melt! I just love the cold in summer I keep the A/C blasting with the house at a constant 55F!

That's too bad. I get free heat and never want to use it!

Woke up today to -13 outside and feels like 0 in the house. 30 mph winds and not having any better forcasts for the next 7 days. Man I hate winter...

I love cold winters too, but not the cloudy, drizzly, windy, damp, depressing, dark and dismal, miserable crap we get in the UK.

Yeah, we used to get proper winters up until a couple of years ago but now it's just dark and raining all the time. I'm still hoping for a few cold, clear days in February so I could actually fly something outside for a change...

Yeah, I would love winter too if we ever got one. So far we have had half a day of real winter. The snow had gone by teatime and then back to cold, wet and windy, lol. Still it was nice in the morning.

Yep! Snow days are the easiest I've taken several long breaks but I'm done for the day already and It's supposed to snow again tonight! My farthest stop on my route is only 5 blocks away so I guess most of my day is spent at home and I make the most $$$ in a day from snow! Winter is my vacation time and spring through fall I usually work 7 days a week so I'm just enjoying my time off!

Once again we have brought weather/tempreture into another thread lol.

Sometimes in the day this forum is like a ghostown. I keep checking to see if I have had any replies and there nothing

It's nice when the forum is full of online people

Brian, is that your snowmoblie? That must be real fun if it is

It was -2C today so not to bad. Thing about our country, in the summer we only get like 25C which could be hotter But we always get rain and wind. So we never get the best out of the seasons. Like when you have cold weather you want snow (We don't get it) When it's summer we want hot weather (We get hot weather but not very hot)

Jonny,

Yeah, another one of my toys.
It'll do over 160 km/hr on the straightaway. Gives more of a rush than the heli's do.
