Default 1 servo vs 2 servo setting in DX7

Sorry Bugster, really didn't know where to put this one, but this question could deal with Esky heli's too and I just like everyone here! But my question is, I got Blade MSR for Xmas, not having any problems at all flying it, but initially when I set it up on my DX7 I set it up as a 2 servo, then I goofed up and lost the bind and I had to rebind it and this time I left it under 1 servo for my DX7 setting. Both settings, I really didn't notice any difference flying it. The Blade MSR has 2 servos. So, what is the difference when setting a heli up between 1 servo and 2 servos on programmble radios? I'm just starting to set up my Belt CP V1 on my DX7, and I have it set up as 3 servo 120 degree setting, and this makes sense to me it has 3 servos, which are spread out over 120deg, correct? Still on that learning curve and wanted to see if someone could explain the 1 verses 2 servo setup. Thanks

If anyone wants to see the what I have found out about this, I posted this same question on the JR/Spektrum 2.4 forum and have been getting some hits.

Hi again, seemed to have missed this one too so I'll move that into Belt CP where they know everything

With the MSR and MCX they are fixed pitch helis so there is no mixing for collective it is all controlled simply by the throttle channel and the aileron and elevator directly move the swashplate. This means to move the heli up/down you are using 1 channel (the throttle) so 1 servo is the correct setting for them.

With the belt cp (and T-Rex450 or clones) the swash movement up and down is done via the pitch channel which moves the swash up and down by mixing 3 channels together (pitch/ailero/elevator) so with this it is correct to use the 3 servo 120 degree setting as the 3 servos are set 120 degrees apart.

Hope this helps.
