I know what you mean Jack, but oddly enough if I'm feeling a bit down Johnny's version lof Hurt seems to "lift" me.

I do like the NIN versions a lot but but I have to agree with you that Johnny has made it his own.

I'm not 100% sure who you are referring to but I can think of a few "artists" who fit the bill.

The one thing that does REALLY p**s me off people not paying for music. I think the internet is great (we wouldn't have "The Freak" without it) but do think that it has had an adverse affect on music - especially when it comes to new emerging bands.
