Ouch! I am so sorry to read of this. Doubly so being on your test flights and leaving you not knowing for sure what happened AND without a ready supply of parts. You must be incredibly frustrated. Too bad you don't have a log. Does the tail boom under those metal clamps have the paint removed anywhere so that you know for sure it's got a free electrical path to the CF frame?

It's hard to say. Now that I think about it I think it's unlikely that there WASNT a connection. I might scrub a little paint off on my next boom to be sure.
The only causes I can think of are a random, unlucky loss of signal, an issue with the lipo that dropped in power suddenly |
