Just got done putting up my outdoor Christmas decorations and I couldn't resist taking advantage of the situation:







It was funny watching Santa fight the downdraft of the 300.......

I looked at the box and it was made by "Gemmy Industries" in 2008. I Googled it and came up with this newer version:

This one looks more like a crop duster with the open cockpit, but apparently they don't make mine anymore.....and it's dated 2008. I also don't know if they ship overseas.

Those look like the LYNX Heli Innovations tail blades for the 300X. I ordered a few from HeliDirect but I'm sure they can be purchased via other online retailers.

I'm hoping these are better than the stockers and if anything, the Lynx tail blades are at least a brighter neon orange than the BLADE Hop-Up one.

I have about 15 flights on the Lynx tail blades that I have. I'm a fan. They came well-balanced and seem to provide a bit more tail authority than even the stock cf tail blades did as I had to back off gyro gain about 3 or so percent as it wagged a bit when I first installed them but they've been performing well. I'd recommend them so far.

These pontoons are the second revision. The first set were tubular shape and postioned the runner at the 12:00 position over the pontoon and the bird became top heavy and easy to tip over.
So this set was designed to widen the footprint and minimize tip over. They work great and are very stable on water. Yea, they do add some drag to the bird, but at least I can set down in deep snow and not worry about cracking plastic in the cold.

Lookin good...especially with the lights!

For less drag, you could try cutting the front (and maybe back, if you fly backwards a lot) of the pontoons at an angle.
