satellites and rx in fuselage?
Where is best to mount the rx/satellite? Inside the fuselage? What satellite/rx? Is the Caron fuselage rx really needed?

My JR Powersafe Rxs have 3 or 4 satellites, with leads varying from 6" to 24", so I place then at different orientations in different positions so that I should always be covered by at least 2 of them. They just get stuck to the side of the fuselage with adhesive velcro or double sided tape.
I use the powersafe rxs because they have dual power inputs (EC3) so that I can plug in two separate 2s A123 batteries, and it has built-in fail-overs in case one fails. It usually discharges both batteries fairly evenly, so the only danger is running both batteries flat. They also have a soft switch, and multiple satellites (3 for RD922, and 4 for RD1222). I would suggest that CF Rx/satellites are probably only necessary in a CF fuselage. Colin
