This is the big question of this thread which you didn't answer.

You know the CY products are one of the best products in the market, mainly their blades.
I can send you the TotalG specs if you forgot them..

Misha, do not worry about the manual, I am having two sets of beta coming my door, I will do the same and post at the site, from a user point of view

I could not plug my futaba servos because the SK360 pins were a bit narrow and we had needed to iron out the servo connector.
I bought the SK360 because its price was lower than the Mikado one, but not for its quality. You only have to look the plastic case with its chinese twisted sticker glued on top. (bad desined)

TotalG = $399 = 3 axis + Gov
Align3G = < $399 = 3 axis + Full head.
SpartanFBL = < $399 = 3 axis + Gov
Should not compare when they are not apple to apple

TotalG = $399 = 3 axis + Gov (no bail out function)
Align3G = < $399 = 3 axis + Full head. (very poor performance)
SpartanFBL = < $399 = 3 axis + Gov (still not much info available)

Misha,

Could you take your issues to another post? You have expressed your dislike of Skookum and your posts are not adding anything to the topic at hand. If you think competitors products are better go for it and buy one. If you can get one, of course.

Pretty amusing comparing a 3g to a SK720. I have both a vBar, 3g and soon a SK720. The 3g has no business being mentioned in the same breath. vBar is still $480 and they can barely keep them in stock. How Misha arrived at $300 is beyond me but quite amusing.

For low end PNP units that may be this years price point. But high end systems justifiably demand a premium over these systems.

Please do a little more research before exposing us to your verbal diahrea.

So far it's taken over five times as many man-hours to develop as the SK360. And that was already having the SK360's flybarless code as a starting point! Our goal is to get way ahead of the tech curve here, but we can't also compete with systems that take shortcuts at the same time [edit: not referring to CY].

About governor's, they're all about testing. The SK720 has the hardware to act as a governor, but it may be a little while before we have the testing done to put that function in.
And I, for one, have been patiently waiting for the SK720 release....and will do so as long as it takes. I greatly respect a manufacturer who takes the proper time to develope and test. I have one of the earilest SK360's and it has always been reliable and exactly what it was advertised to be. Not bad for your 1st entry in the market....this gets my attention.

How much...that's a good question...I'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there.

I'm not too worried about the price as I'm sure it will be reasonable but I do hope it is released soon as I have a heli that needs flight control electronics.

I am ENTITLED to my opinion as are you. Your post consisted mostly of a rant against me, then you posted like a White Knight to save Skookum, with no real basis that we can accept, because it is your opinion.
All you did was attack me, then you assummed we all agreed with you. I am entitled to my opinion.
Discourse is always good. You sound like a skookum fanboy.
The 720 is a great system, I guess, but I won't know until the people fly one and I won't accept anyones hearsay.
Remember, it's only an object. Peoples opinions are more important than a simple object.

thanks, at least someone who has the healthy mind

for the other guys, let's be honest how much $$ are you paid by skookum for protecting their products ?
I'm still waiting that Skookum does answer my questions, I wont be cheated twice by them.

Patience my friend. It'll be in testing in a few weeks.

And don't ask me what it's going to cost yet.

LOL
Nobody ever called me a white knight before
Rant??? I wouldn't call "two" sentences a rant.

Accept what? LOL
Of course it's my opinion..who else's would it be?

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, but you just crossed the line.

For the record, Skookum pays me exactly $0.00 per month to "protect" their products.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but my guess is they simply got tired of trying to satisfy a customer who would not be satisfied.

Enough.

Art, I am still waiting for my check.... Misha, go back to wherever you came from, this is a Skookum Robotics forum. Hence there are going to be people here who support and are happy with the skookum producs. As for Art not "wanting" the specs of the V-bar, or responding to your "questions", I'm sure he's busy with testing and real issues not dealing with an anonymous internet badass like yourself.

That's so funny... reminds me of my Samsung LED LCD I bought 9m ago... I should call Samsung up and tell them I will never buy another one of their TV's again because I can buy the same TV for half the price now...

If you haven’t caught on, 90% of electronics drop in price over their lifetime.

I was thinking more of the 'disable posting' or 'timeout' button.
