Default 90HV, does it have a built in rpm sensor that vbar can use?

I've been trying to find any info on this but I haven't succeeded, maybe there are info in German but that don't really help me so I was hoping someone here could straighten this out.

Does the 90HV esc have a built in rpm sensor or do I have to use an external sensor?

If the 90HV don't have it, which esc do?

If it is a newer esc then it does have it and you can follow the threads in this forum to set it up.
Unfortunately it is not clearly marked on the esc. Any HV built after I believe August of last year has the vbar gov support.

Ahh thats good, if I order from a larger dealer or directly from YGE I can't imagine they would deliver anything so old.

I sold a Jive 80HV to get vbar support, is this a better replacement or am I better of with the 120HV?

Can YGE be updated at home or do they need to be sent in like Jives?

Oh, if you are buying it new then yes it will definately have the phase output for the vbar. I assumed you had it already and didn't know.
The 90HV is definately a good replacement for the Jive 80HV but of course there is no built in BEC in the YGE. If you can fit the 120HV in your application, it allows for future use in a bigger application, but it is a much bigger unit than the 90, so be aware.
