Default GPro DOA??

I just got an Align GPro. For a quick test, I connected the power wire from the GPro to the RX (to power the RX) and the ESC to the throttle port of the GPro. ABSOLUTELY observed correct polarity; I understand the thing has no reverse polarity protection.

Power up the ESC. The RX binds instantly to the TX (power to the RX is going thru the GPro).

However, the status lite on the GPro doesn't show any sign of life and I can't get my PC to "see" the GPro on the USB connection.

I've heard these things had a high rate of DOA's when they first shipped.

SO, anyone think it might be DOA?? Or something else wrong??

boowho??
