You're spending way too much on that battery. I get outrage 2500's for over $60 less than that...

60 less on Outrage 2500's...how long do they fly on a stock set up (I have a bone stock esp)....I was reading 4 mins is about average...I'm getting over 6 on my Thunder power 2700 batts..Have flight power too and those come down just around the 5 min mark and are pretty warm...too warm for me so I land about 04:30 in, I just flew the Thunder power to nearly 7 mins here at lunch time and still was only slightly warm and cell voltage was 1.71 across the board, the pack is fully charged as per my Triton 2 eq put 1973 back in at 1c charge of 2.7 amps, I'm always game to spend less..just don't want to sacrifice air time

Several flights later, the batteries have evened out and are charging at about the same rate, but Z2's C rating of "20-30C" is currently feeling a lot closer to the 20 side.... -Drew |

Cation3: I put back 2300mAh in my Zippys after 10min flight and with my turnigy 50W (Max 2,2A @ 6s) it takes about 1h20min. to recharge.
If you move your rear battery mounting screw down to the hole in the frame(see picture) the canopy will fit properly and the C.G will be better aswell. |

You can get the Zippy Flightmax 2650 mAH batteries at FlyHeliRUs for about $81.00 shipped (depending on where you live): http://www.flyhelirus.com/servlet/th...Ah-6S1P/Detail The Zippy H 3300 mAH batteries are about $115 plus shipping (another $15?): http://www.flyhelirus.com/servlet/th...dsh-30C/Detail So, they 3300s are a few bucks more than if you bought them at Hobby City, but you'd at least get them in a couple of days or so (again, shipping time depends on where you live. FlyHeliRUs is in Southern California. Hope that helps- Gerry |

I use 6S 3200 Flight Power Evo 30s on my 500 ESP. They fit with no mods at all. I fly 6 minutes and put back 2500. Seems to balance well too.

i got the 3300 mah 3S zippy h packs from hobby city for my ESP and i love them!!!, just need to figure out where to put them on the heli to fit perfect...after that you can do it anytime and the canopy fit without any problem. Having 9 min flying is awesome.

+1 I have that pack too.. Lowered my tray. Have two 3000s on backorder and going to try those as well. They are heavier but the power is still very good. 500 with this pack on a windy day is no problem at all.

Hi guys, I've tried using the 3300 Lipo but I find my CG is off. I need lead weight on the tail. Is this common for this setup?
thanks, M |

Yep, lowered the whole tray by 1 cm. I'm using a futaba 9257 servo. regardless of how far back I shift the battery, it is still nose heavy (slightly). I figured it may be due to the ESC which is located under the battery tray.

Im thinking about getting a 3300 also. It weighs about 538 grams, would that be too heavy? Right now Im running a 2200 which weighs 438 grams. Its perfect now that I have my RX, gyro, and wires under the battery.
