The power bus problem has no impact on the RX as the G3 unit is in between. The voltage drop caused by the single connector/cable is on the 3G entry side and not on the RX output. Therefore if your RX recognizes voltage drops it's highly likely due to insufficient power/BEC on the RX input side.

The cause of the auto piro flip feature is ether a lost in sensor signals due to weak connectors on the sensor input/output or due to a 3G brownout because of massive voltage drops on the 3G power input.
(might be a electronic or software defect as well)

that made sense. thanks. After replacing the cc 10A bec with the BEC Pro (both out-puts into Rx), the heli seem ok. i only flew it twice today cuz it was getting dark. i didn't open up the connectors to check the crimp job on the sensor wire but i did use shoe goo to keep them in place with the 3G controller and gyro. i did get a random tail kick which i read on Align Q&A tips that it's normal for this behavior???

I'm watching this thread carefully, as I now have the 3G FBL.
My thoughts: If possible brown-outs are screwing the 3G controller, I'm thinking it should be possible to separate the power to servo's from the controller and have a Ultra clean Linear reg to power the controller, as it's only about 100mA. The servo's would then be run on there own power supply, any glitch on the servo's should not then interfere with the 3G system. What ya reckon?
