Default PL8 & MPA vs mcpx batteries

Hi all.

I have the MPA board, which has two pico ports on it. For now, this will have to do - I can at least parallel charge two mcpx packs.

I've found the 1s/2s unbalanced library preset which is what I am using for charging. However, I can't seem to find an appropriate storage charge preset for the pack.

For now I've copied the 1s/2s preset and modified the charge voltage to 3.86 and the discharge voltage to 3.83. I can manually discharge or charge based on where I know the battery to be.

Is this good to go? Whats the best approach everyone is using for these smaller packs with the PL8?

Thanks.

Duh - didn't have the software on advanced mode. I can now set the preset to be a storage charge - so that takes care of that.

Again though, are others using a parallel charge lead? Or charging them 3 at a time as a 3 cell or what?

I'm using the cable from Progressive. But the fused board from BuddyRc might be a better choice. If you are running JST-XH wiring mode, you'll need to use the unbalanced preset with a 2 amp limit. Or you can run a balance cable in parallel to the main leads.
