Default Interesting osculation on T-rex 500 DFC

Well I finally nailed down my roll issue with my AR7200bx and was able to get the 500 into a hover. All was great for 10-15 seconds then it started moving on all cyclic directions. set it softly down and soon as the skids touched it smoothed out. So I powered back up and again the same thing happened. I think I know what the problem is but want some feed back from others to verify.

I think the problem lies in the servo arms. I am running Savox servos and align metal arms. The arms fit nice but have .5mm or less of movement on the spline of the servo. Do y'all think that slight movement could be causing a snowball effect on the cyclic? Or do I need to look else where for my problem.

Greg

Absolutely! You don't want any play or slack in anything. Also grab your rotor head and see if there is any slack in it up and down. even the slightest amount of play can cause problems with a 3 axis gyro system no matter who makes it.

Head is tight main shaft is tight. The servo arms cause about a quarter degree of change in cyclic control pitch.

You gotta get rid of that play.
