Yes Mikado.

Shaft is different from align
Did not change dampners, they are very soft.
But it has the right geometry for Vbar

I use this head too. But on second flight blades touch on tail boom but heli do not crash. I need change dampers. What pitch, motor and pinion you use? Where i find this shaft?

I use V5 v-bar.
How i increase speed the tail? How i change agility the heli? What flight style is more agressive? What gain you use?

I ckeck head and i see spacers and i have other doubt. This spacer is a "cone" the part that have biggest diameter touch on bearing the grips or it touch on dampers? I can use part with smaller diameter touch on dampers?

one question though are you guys using your spektrum RX or are you using Sat. RX's? if you are using the sat. RX are you using 1 or 2... tia

I started out with one Sat, but after upgrading to MiniV Ver. 5.0 and seeing all the Antenna Switches in the Log, I switched to 2 sats. Would stick with Normal Spectrum mode, not Hi Res 2048 Mode, as having issues with that mode.

The align 3G head is nice, Geometry is not as good as Mikado Head, I just switched from Align 3G head to Mikado, as fighting a Elevator Bobble...Both work ok.

Mikado has a geometry tool where you input the distances between swash balls, blade grip arm length ect. And it calculates how well it will perform flybarless.

The Align 3G Head has shorter arms than the Mikado Head, thus does not score as high in the geometry calculation.

I like the design of the Align 3G head, but it's dampening is too stiff, and geometry not as good.

THe Mikado Head dampening to very soft, which I do not like, and no thrust bearings.

Nothing is perfect,

Definitely easier to fly... less correction in hover, less twitchy... I would recommend it to any beginner... Setup is also much easier, all the guesswork is taken out of it (well that's if you use mini v-bar 5.0)

I've heard that the TB red dampers were good so that's what I'll be using in my build with the 3G head. Have you tried those?

I have the red, the green, the black. The stock dampner is soft rubber but is still very stiff dampening due to the head design. I don't see how the harder red, green dampner could help

Does the mini v-bar 5.0 work the same as the Skookum SK-720 6-axis Flybarless System im a new bi and want to convert my 450 pro to fbl . i know the SK-720 is a little more expensive but if its better for a new bi i would rather pay it?

For anyone who has setup the Mini-V with Satellites: How are you getting the servo's square'd up? I don't have a spare receiver and the instructions state that you should start with servos unplugged. I'd hate to have to remove them half way through the setup.

I did it in Trim Mode with head off and swashplate leveler.
You can tell of the servo's are at 90 deg by leveling the swash at mid stick, then.
Then I went to expert and moved collective high, if swash was not level I went back to normal(happy face) mode and adjusted the trim on the servo that was either high or low. Then I checked collective low and repeated.

I did not adjust trim at Collective high and low. If the Servo's are at 90 deg then travel to positive and negative collective swash should remain level.
Kind of a pain as you have to do it for each servo and go back and forth.

Can you get to trim mode with Express or do I need to upgrade to Pro?

You can just go thru the setup when you need to setup the servos, then when the servos are all installed into the frame and the heli finished just go thru the setup again to get all the other settings all done. You don't need the pro version.
