Default WOW! Cheap Lepton spares

Too bad they are not actual Hirobo parts but at these prices it's just about as cheap to crash as a T-Rex.

http://www.helidirect.com/index.php?cPath=38_132

Anyone have any experience with the Helidirect stuff? Is it any good?

What about the frame. I am thinking of buying but that frame replacement is still too high. I know that the prices at ready heli have gone down some, but what about the frame?

I like that 22T Pinion, might be the right thing to allow the 3025 10T motor to run near 100% with my ESC. Also, the tail rotor blade grips are nice too! I may have to place an order!

HeliDirect also sells CF 62mm blades which work well with the Lepton, although I do have the 67mm blades from Readyheli.

This looks very good, especially I am interested in carbon boom (stock one breaks so fast), and the pinion 22T (for the 4S you just have to get smaller than 24), what material is it ?

This main gear, is it delrin ?

The main frame, I wonder what else parts need to be bought, because motor upside-down, can all other parts being used (e.g. main mast/gear) and is the tailservo space full size ?

sorry, many questions still left ... :?:

The Pinion is Brass

If u read carefully i think he has 2 frames, one is the HDX 500 frame (shown above)
From what i know, HDX frames should come with the full thing shown (STK frames comes complete)
the other is just normal Lepton Frames replacement.

A buddy of mine is using one of the main gears and it is working very well. He has about 15 flights on it now. It is not derlin but well molded plastic. It did not appear to be out of round like Align molded gears.

I don't see the CF boom?

Also, what happened to the 22 tooth pinion?

I placed my order over the weekend. Hope the pinion shows up as a 22 tooth.

Same question here with the 22 tooth pinion. I had a order all set to go and I noticed it was a 24 tooth. When the 22t shows back up, I'll place the order.
