Following inspiration from replies to my earlier thread re: canopy not fitting with 3000mah 6S lipo, I have had a few hours tinkering in the workshop and the canopy now fits. Its not pretty and still some cosmetic work to be done but it cost me nothing!

As long as you achieved the desired results, I would not worry too much about cosmetics. No one will see it with the canopy on.

I got a batterymod also. I use the mode that was postet a long time ago here and ist was cutted wit a cnc-machiene





Also i put my Reciver in the back from the Chassis.
I used a GFK-Plate, cut it to the size to fit in the chassis and glues it with superglue on the chassis and fixed after dry the reciver with velcro tape and cabel fixer

Here's my spin on it. I kept the stock mounts, just used a piece of aluminum. I can even use my Turnegy 3000 mAh lipo!. I also tapped and threaded a 3 mm hole to secure the Trex canopy to the frame. It utilizes the stock trex holes also the stock Gaui mounting location. I also use the Trex landing gear as the Gaui gear breaks to easy when I do auto's.

I really love my Gaui now. It is 1 smokin heli. I will put it up against ANY 500 size heli!!!!

That is one nice heli, really nice tidy job!!

Since my original post I have stretched mine to a 550 and it's awesome, wiring and electrics being refitted to make a nice job
