I was using Kst 215 , but they have defective potentiometers so my next choice is the Mks92a which I have on order.Would have rather had the mks95 but just to expensive!

Thats good to know about the mks92a's!The Kst servos develop a twitch that is unnerving at times(close to the ground)!I thought it was my gyro but finally figured it out it was my servos causing most of my problems(crashs).

Thanks for the replies, I should of said for fbl.

Bit to Much for me the mks 92as etc, anything else? I wish ino-lab made some because I like there servos.

what about the mks DS460 ? for cyclic

i was going to go with the mks 92s until i heard there not for fbl .........
i can't really understand that to be honest, because how can people be using these cheap hobbyking servos and getting away with it.........

450 fbl servos need power and speed.Speed should be .10 or less ,faster is better, they also need torque 2.5kg or better and if going Dfc more is better again. They also need to survive crashs which most won't!The Kst's did all that but until they fix there pots there not worth it.There aren't many choices. The Ds460 say there for robots,I used the ds480(same size) for my 300 size heli and felt they where to weak.

Maybe I just got unlucky, but I had MKS 92's in mine and I crashed it twice. First one was a brown out and my beam dropped straight down from a ~20 foot hover. Bent the output shafts on 2 of the servos somehow??? Second I hit nose first quite hard, ruined my ele servo. Can't say I ever care for trying MKS servos again.

azezeil, were you using ds92's or ds92a+? If it was 92's they don't like fbl setup, I had them too in my fbl heli and went bad also, 92a+ are made for fbl setup.

On my Kst's they would break the plastic servo arm , do they make breakaway servo arms for the mks92a?

Still using HS-65mg's with my BX. I'm told that digital servo's are better for FBL, but this thing flies pretty awesome, so ignorance is bliss I guess.

Yeah they were just the ds92's. I got them before the ds92a+ were released. Couldn't justify spending $150 on a new set so I just went with the KST. Haven't had a chance to fly them yet though.

The Kst's have bad potentiometers that cause servo jerk bad enough to give a good scare .It was a bit to exciting to continue to fly with them.Ive had 15 various Branded Kst's and they all develop the problem after so many flights. You can Goggle it for more information.

I have MKS DS95s on the cyclics and MKS DS95i on the tail. Low power consumption, totally locked in. No problems whatsoever.

I just ordered a set of Mks 95 to replace my Kst 215,they use the same gears so I'm already stocked on gears.
