ZYX S2 worth the upgrade from a ZYX (non S)

Running a ZYX on a 450 Pro V2 FBL DFC, mild flyer, just learning FF, had a couple crashes from a solid hover where I am not sure if I had a servo failure or a gyro glitch, using Hitec 5065 so I am confident in them but based on some threads I have read over time I am a little suspicious of issues with my original ZYX (vibration, static ....), I just did the Ver 4.0 upgrade but is it worth an upgrade to the S2 new unit? BTW I run a conventional receiver (TH9X) no satellites.

I too am quite interested to hear how folks like the S2, but many of the new S2 units were actually just S units in an S2 case... There aren't too many folks yet that have real true S2's.
