sweet thanks... I'll look into that....

Looks like a very sweet unit... I love the touch control system... Awesome idea, and it looks pretty small as well....

The only thing.... do you know if it runs off Spektrum sats, or do I need a separate Rx?

Thanks,

Should have checked out esprit first though, as they have a picture of the unit with a spektrum sat next to it...

Joe_Breezy

PS. So it "IS" that good, eh? Hard to believe a $190 FBL unit will be a very good unit to use.... kind of makes me wonder about all the Skookum 720s I bought when they first came out... <grin>

Not quite all electric
Still have 6 or 7 nitros...

The GT5 works fine with nitro. Simply set the model type to nitro during the setup. If any issues with vibration, you can adjust the sensor sensitivity/filtering.

I have one of these suckers coming to try out, after skimming the manual it mentions nitro and E installs are ok but looks like if using DSM sats plugged into GT5 directly there are no spare channels out to control a separate nitro gov?

Obviously if using sbus or a separate Rx you could use a channel on the Rx itself for the gov switching channels.

Clicked the button, will try on the 500 first with HW ESC and gov, hope the gov on the HW is decent.
If my TDR comes one day (still haven't heard back from Jan) I'll try it too and compare with vbar

Default Man o man

I posted that they were $180, went to bed and they almost sold out. So I of course panicked and bought one as soon as I woke up. Great hobby ehh? I can't think of any other hobby where I would freak out like I was missing the boat. I have an unused vbar sitting here. Oh well. If it's that good, I might have 2 vbars for sale!

Sorry about that...

I am traveling right now, but will post the values that are on my unit and in the radio when I get back end of the week.

It is not like the AC-3X in that regard. Mine was flying like something on 400 agility in V-bar on the first outing, so it can be set pretty crazy.
