Burnt motor?

I smacked my nano with hh bl kit into the wall and when I pick it up I smelled something burning, everything works but it does this when you start to spoil it, thinking the motor is going bad

The Spawn was acting just like that.
I put a stock motor back in her, and now she flies fine.
My HH BL kit is only about 4 weeks old. Hope they send me a new one.

I tried lots of stuff first, keeping track of which battery I installed, changed out the tail motor (since that was easy), TX battery voltage, etc.

Edit: No, I'm waiting for HH to send me a replacement.
All I had on hand was the 3rd stock motor that was still running OK.
I really liked how The Spawn flew with this new BL motor.

I think my HH setup called it quits today too. It happened a little differently to me though. Mine didn't look like it was struggling to start up. It would spin immediately upon throttle input, but it would cut in and out very quickly, sometimes staying on just long enough to lift off the ground only to cut again.

I think it's the HH ESC that is what's wrong with mine. My board is fairly new, but then again, I don't even have a brushed motor to troubleshoot with. I suppose I'll contact HH as they seem to be pretty good for sending replacement stuff but as of now, I have 3 MMW motors 'en route to Canada' according to Canada Post. So they're on an airplane and will be here later this week.
