Default V4 Fuselage on an Eflite CX2/CX3 frame

You can mix and match Esky V4 frames, and fuselages with Eflite frames and fuselages.

The secret is to get the proper battery holder, as the battery holder contains the front holes for the fuselage and the mounts for the landing gear.

In this example, I'll fit an Esky V4 fuselage to an Eflite CX2/CX3 frame.

The Eflite frame is different than the Esky frame, in that the Eflite mounts the motors in the front of the frame and the servos on the back of the frame. However this difference does not affect the fuselage mounting.

here's a link to the CX2/CX3 frame - http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=EFLH1254

With the CX2/CX3 frame and the CX2 battery mount, the Esky V4 fuselage fits into place

By chosing the proper battery mounts, you can also mount any of the Eflite scale fuselages on the V4 frame.

A great tutorial mnwizard. I am sure this is invaluable to Lama fliers. Gotta be sticky material for sure

hi there jack
wow some great looking work there.wish i still had my lama's as one would def get the eflite scafe fuse.im curious whats the cog like on the eflite my lama's were fairly well spot on but i figgured it was due to the motors being mounted front and rear..shorly the two motors are far heavier than the two servos

anyways sticky material for shore...lord bugster its time to break out the glue

cheers
antony

Yep, you're right Antony. Without a fuselage, the COG is too far forward on the Eflight frame and motors. However all the fuselages are tail heavy so it balances out pretty well. I've never had to add weight to any of them.
