3G V2.1 won't open fully on my Win 7 netbook

Gaaah....waited so long, had my T500 3G in its box waiting for this and now the GUI won't open fully. The update part of the process to 2.1 went fine, other than the plug trying to pull out the guts of the sensor when I tried to disconnect it...

The tuning software screen comes up but the 'language' selection box doesn't appear so the software will not actually start. No amount of fiddling with sizing the GUI box helped. My netbook is running 1080X600 and is not adjustable...Anybody got any ideas...Vstabi, Hitec, Castle Link are all happy on this netbook. Only Align's software is non-conforming...Why am I not suprised....

i had problems with the disk myself, after i downloaded it worked. try downloading it. http://www.align.com.tw/alignhtml/3g...3g_update.html

My netbook does not have a CD drive so I had to download it and it works fine. Same kind of odd screen resolution on mine as well. I am running XP so I don't know about your Win 7.

I have tried both the files off the CD and the downloaded files with the same result...Thanks....

I got windows 7 on my laptop it works fine, you can try and boot laptop up in safe mode this will run the screen at a different resolution but it should work

Thanks but safe mode didn't fix the problem... This is a netbook with Windows 7 Starter. Maybe something to do with the truncated version of Windows 7...? I'm about to put the whole 3G kit on the for sale forum....Just too many headaches since I first tried to get it working well on my T500.

Funny I thought I was the only one, what I did was just clicked my mouse down around where the language box should be and the program opened in Chinese, then just change to English and your good.

Are you running Windows 7 'Starter' edition? In any case, I tried this with much hope but after endless scrolling and clicking around the approximate correct spot, I had to give it up.... Thanks

It runs fine but the screen resolution of your netbook is to low. The selectionbox is of screen. Try tap arrow and return combos to reach it.
