Default Lynx has another winner....

fwiw

I have been flying the BL since its release, been very happy with them...But like all my other helis, I keep trying to improve them without reengineering the heli...
Part of the improvements have been tuning the tail gyro loop with various tail blades...
One of my helis flys well with the 42 or 47 mm Lynx blades, the fussier seems to prefer the 42 , allowing me to run slightly higher gain before the loop starts to wag...
Enter the new 45 mm threeblade tail rotor....I have a few flights on both helis now, both show improvement in tr response and more consistent yaw rates....But the fussier of the two let me go up 10% on gain, no wag, and is smoother in tail respose than it has ever been.

Thanks, Lynx!.... One more tool in the BL performance bag!

No worries....If it were backwards the tail would work poorly or not at all.....pitch would,be reversed...

I will post pic when able.....

I had the same question at first, and answered it with some orientation concerns...

If you spin the heli tail-in, the prop wash blows to the right - this means that the blade is mounted "dull finish" to the right, or outward

I wonder if it could be made to blow across the motor (left) to help cooling...hhhmm...

With just a little bit of time and effort, I succeeded in getting the new Lynx tri-blade tail rotor to blow its propwash across the tail motor to assist with cooling...course, same could be done with any tail rotor

Always been concerned with overheating using the aftermarket tail rotors...this should help
